We want you to give you tangible steps to make your life better. Here are our steps to being happier. Please contact us and tell us how it goes, we would love to hear your success story. We may even post it (if that is OK with you).
Mental Wellness Steps | Happiness
Step 001 | Better Sleep. Your bed should only be for sleeping. Don’t read there, watch TV, or listen to the radio. If you need “white noise” only turn it on when you sleep and have it be a fan or something like that. Do this for 2 weeks.
Step 002 | Exercise 3x per week. Several studies show that exercise is more effective than anti-depressants. Do this for a month.
Step 003 | Eat 3 meals a day for 2 weeks. Have snacks that are healthy like nuts or fruit. Reduce prepackaged food and try and make more from scratch.
Step 004 | Have 2 social contact per week. These are fun, like going for lunch or coffee.
Step 005 | Keep all this going for an additional month.
